West Carroll…

West Carroll Parish.

A Place Where History, Agriculture, and Hospitality Meet

West Carroll Parish sits in the heart of Louisiana’s Delta, where fertile farmland, scenic bayous, and generations of hardworking families have shaped a community rich in tradition and pride. Agriculture remains at the center of life here, with cotton, corn, soybeans, sweet potatoes, and other crops stretching across the landscape that has sustained local families for generations. Visitors will find a place where the pace is a little slower, conversations happen on friendly front porches, and guests are welcomed like neighbors.

West Carroll is more than a destination—it’s a way of life. Fertile farmland, strong schools, and a deep sense of community create an environment where families can grow and thrive. Local students excel in the classroom and in athletics, supported by dedicated educators and a community that shows up with pride. Here, life moves at a meaningful pace, neighbors know each other, and traditions are passed down with care.

Convenient access to our parish is made possible through the Kelly-Dumas Airport, a valuable regional asset that supports business travel, agricultural operations, and visitors arriving by air. The airport enhances connectivity for industry and tourism alike, helping welcome guests, support economic growth, and showcase West Carroll Parish as a destination that blends rural charm with forward-looking opportunity.
